Support Project Passenger Pigeon and The Cause

Project Passenger Pigeon is a grass roots effort that seeks participation from the broadest array of organizations and individuals who care, as we do, about the passenger pigeon story and its wider themes and objectives: species decline and extinction, the relationship between people and nature, and environmental sustainability.

To date, this has been a largely volunteer effort on the part of passionate individuals and participating institutions. But as the Project grows and we move forward on the preparations for the 2014 commemoration date (the species became extinct in 1914), the need for additional funding to implement the Project's overall program is increasing.

Your donation, to maximize the effectiveness of the proposed Project Passenger Pigeon program, under the strict stewardship of the Chicago Academy of Sciences, will be much appreciated.
